Central Embassy #MidtermCrisis

Today is Saturday! and It is around 2 weeks to midterm exam!! :( My friends and I decided to meet today at Central Embassy for exam reviewing~!! :D

First of all let's get to know what is Central Embassy. Central Embassy is the high-end shopping mall in Bangkok founded by the Central group. The mall is located on Ploenchit  Road next to Central Childlom. It is also a part of the British Embassy. The Central group won the offer to buy the area in front of the British Embassy then built into the luxury shopping mall Central Embassy. The area of Central Embassy is known as the most expensive land in Thailand during the year 2006. Central Embassy has a modern skywalk connected to Central Childlom, BTS, Wave Place, and Park Hyatt hotel.

The mall has 7floors not including the underground.
  • G floor and 1st floor are for six stars luxury brands as Ralph Lauren, Hermes, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Chanel, and Prada. While G floor is also connected to the lobby of Park Hyatt hotel and also a separate elevator to the 8th floor of hotel. The first floor is connected to skywalk to the Wave Place.
  • 2nd floor has a vertical  garden and walkway connected to Central Childlom.
  • 3rd floor is for fashion shops
  • 4th floor is for bank, technology shop, beauty clinic, home decoration, and The Embassy Lounge.
  • 5th floor is the restaurant.
  • 6th and 7th floor are Embassy Diplomat Scrrens by AIS. It is the number one digital cinema. It has five theaters operated by Executive Cinema Cooperation from Canada. These floors are also connected to Wave Place's event hall and the hotel.
  • 8th to 40th floors are Park Hyatt Bangkok hotel. The most luxury class of the Hyatt hotels.

Central embassy is designed as a shape of infinity from the high angle. It represents the infinity of development from the Central group since the past until now and also in the future.

My house is nearby Suvarnabhumi Airport. I take the Airport Link to Phaya Thai Station then using the BTS from Phaya-Thai Station to Ploenchit Station. Walking out of exit 5 of Ploenchit Station, walk on the skywalk and you will see the entrance to Central Embassy.

You will first see PAUL restaurant as you walk inside the mall.

I'm kinda late and my friend Jaja was waiting for me inside already. She calls me and saysthat she is hungry. So let's hurry and go meet Jaja!

We choose the restaurant called Audrey Cafe Glamour. Audrey is a cafe and restaurant under the extraorinary lifestyle concept. This cafe restaurant provided a comfy and cozy ambience with a delicious fusion dishes!

I order Spicy Dry Chili with River Prawn Spaghetti. It is the best Thai-English fusion dish. The spaghetti is made with Thai style spicy sauce. It is very delicious.

My friend Jaja orders this one. It is a Thai style grilled pork wrapped by noodle. The sauce was full-flavored with sweetness and saltiness. We normally eat the grilled pork with sticky rice but try this dish with a noodle instead! It is also nice!!

It is time for sweet. This is Milo Sizzing Roti. Roti is a kind of Indian food made of flour. Mili is a kind of chocolate and cocoa powder. This is a Roti on a hot pan with Milo power and sauce melting on top. It is also topped with chocolate, marshmallow, and Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. The Roti was really soft. It is a perfect match eating with ice cream and all the toppings.

After eating fully, we meet Fern and finding some place to study! The mall is really quiet and calm. It is really nice :D

We decide to study at some juice cafe. This juice cafe is in the center of the walkway of Central Embassy but it is still quiet and nice for studying.

These are what girls have as their stationaries. Hahahaha. These things of Jaja are soooooooo cuteeeeeeee! >_< Do u notice the crying heart post-it there? It was so cuteeeee and I am dyingggg. I just bought it! It is a colaboration between the brand Something Boudoir and the game Candy Crush.(hearts)

We then go shopping and this is the shop that I told you before that I bough the post-it Hahaha.

And I also wanted to review the toilet in Central Embassy. It is built with a white marble. That is so beautiful :)

They also have a small lounge inside the toilet so that you can sit and wait here ;))

Moreover, there is also the sky garden at the roof of the mall. It is inspired by Madison Square Garden in New York. The garden offers meals and drinks by many bistros as Water Library, Minibar, and 27 St. and also, the cocktails are made by the top mycologists only. You can enjoy your late afternoon and night here at the trendy garden in the busy town.

Then let's go up to see the most luxury cinema in Thailand!

You will see the ticket concierge as you walk up there.

Beside the ticket concierge, there are snack counter and the entrance to the theater.

The price of the ticket is starting from 900 Baht to 1,200 Baht. It provides the big comfortable sofa as a chair using in the airlines for the first class. You will be serviced with a duvet, pillow, adjustable light, call button, bag hanger, and even USB port. There is also a personal fridge where you get an unlimited drink. You will also be served with a snack from Dean & DeLuca as well as receiving a surprise gift if you visit on weekends and holidays.

For dinner, we go eat Thai cuisine at NARA.

This is Tom Yum Kung. The spicy river prawn soup.

This is a fried fish with a sweet fish sauce.

And here is a spicy papaya salad with fried spicy chicken.

After all these, it is time to go home! I walk out of the mall to the sky walk to BTS. And this is the end of Saturday this week!~~
